I may not be aware what month it is but I got the date right at least. Funny…I did the same thing yesterday on a demo sketch for the workshop. I dated it November 6th. I reckon I’m stuck in November mentally. If it happens again I will write “It’s December Goofball!” one-hundred times in the journal. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Anyway, we went up on the Mesa today and stopped at Old Powderhorn, which is actually named “Mesa Creek Ski Area”. (I finally read the historic marker sign.) So…I found a dry boulder down by the creek and sketched out the scene in front of me. It was a very relaxing & peaceful thirty minutes.
